This issue seems to be caused by having a leading and/or trailing space and special characters like a hashtag(#) in a folder within the installation path.
To solve this, we recommend creating a new (Steam Library) Folder and make sure that the installation path has none of the characters mentioned above. Below we've included some examples of good and troublesome installation paths.
