You can check quickly if you have access to the dlc by one of the 3 instructions given below:
- Start a new game and see if you can select the "Witch" Class
- Travel to one of the villages or castles in the game and check the shop. Scrolling through the Items list, you should see "Ooze Juice" and "Candy Maggots" about two thirds down the list.
or - The new quest content can be found in the north-eastern corner of the map, behind the "Tear Cliff". If you can go there, play through the quests in that location, and arrive in "Other Village", you are definitely in DLC land.
